Thomas Nogues has worked in the Technology, Media and Telecommunication sector for over ten years. In his current position, his main focus is to coordinate Cable Europe’s efforts within both technology and regulatory domains.

Before joining Cable Europe, Thomas was Director of technology EMEA for the Motion Picture Association (MPA) Hollywood studios trade association where he specialized on content protection and industry negotiation. For several years, he has been an active participant in worldwide technology standards organizations. Prior to joining the MPA, Thomas held several senior positions at NDS, a leading technology provider of conditional access and middleware solutions. He began his career in the semiconductor industry working for ST Microelectronics both in France and the UK.

Thomas holds a Master in Business Administration from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, an Engineering degree in Telecoms from “Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications” Telecom ParisTech and a degree in Applied Physics from Grenoble University.
