Sally Habbershaw

Vice President, Scheduling, Acquisitions and Promotions
AMC/Sundance Channel Global Networks
In her role as vice president, Sally Habbershaw is responsible for the scheduling, acquisitions and promotions for all AMC/Sundance Channel properties outside North America. Habbershaw joined AMC/Sundance Channel Global Networks in 2011.
Habbershaw, a 19 year industry veteran, has an extensive background in broadcast, cable television and digital programming, both domestically and abroad. Most recently, she served as a key strategic consultant to Gawker Media where Habbershaw created and implemented a content strategy across Gawker’s bouquet of digital platforms. She has held several positions at Viacom including Vice President and General Manager of VH1 UK overseeing VH1, VH1 Classic, VH2 and TMF, and Director of Development at VH1 USA where she was integral to the network achieving its best ratings historically during her tenure. She also served as Director of Programming, Comedy Central in Europe (PCC) and helped to establish PCC as a Top Ten cable network. Additionally, Habbershaw has worked in managerial positions at Granada and NBC Europe, both based in London, UK.
Habbershaw graduated with honors from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is a member of BAFTA, Women in Digital Media and Women in Film and Television.
