Luis Lopes
He spent the last 7 years in the telecoms industry. Since September 2007, he has been Board Member and COO of ZON Multimedia (ex PT-Multimedia) responsible for all operational aspects of the company including sales, marketing, network, IT, product and innovation. Previously he was a Board Member at PTComunicações (PTC), responsible for the fixed telecom residential business. He was also responsible for the launch of the IPTV service at PTC.
From 1998 to 2004 he was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company (Lisbon and Warsaw), participating in many projects throughout Europe related with Retail Banking and Energy. He was also the Co-leader of Retail Banking in Europe and published several articles and co-authored a book entitled “Excellence in Retail Banking”.
Prior to that he spent three years, between 1995 and 1998, working at Procter & Gamble Europe (Lisbon and London) as the Senior Analyst in charge of the Haircare sector in Europe and Product Supply Finance of the Haircare sector worldwide.
