Joe Matarese
Dr. Joseph Matarese is a veteran cable and telecommunications technology executive who is renowned for his thought-leadership and innovation in the advanced advertising industry. Most recently vice president and general manager of the On Demand Business Unit for ARRIS Group, in this role Matarese was a key figure in the product development of large-scale on-demand and switched IP-based video advertising systems deployed worldwide. Matarese began his cable career with nCUBE, which was subsequently acquired by by C-COR where he served as senior vice president of global advanced technology. He joined ARRIS upon the acquisition of C-COR in 2007. Matarese holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), as well as both a B.S. and an M.A. in Earth,Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences from MIT. He is also a published scientific author.
