David Daniels
Born in 1961, David’s interest in the Entertainment Industry was first piqued by working in Repertory Theatre in the early 80′s. He went on to train with the BBC as a Broadcast Engineer before moving to Sky Television in 1988. Over the years, he has been involved in many developments which have transformed how Television is perceived by the public, and is now Chair of the DVB Technical group tasked with creating standards for 3D Television. He also took on the role of Chair of the Steering Board for the Voluntary Industry Agreement to Improve the Energy Consumption of Complex Set Top Boxes under the EuP/ErP Directive and in this role is helping the PayTV Industry to reduce its environmental impact through efficient design and build of services and devices.
