Keynote Panel Discussion: A View From The Top
Growth-driven strategies from the top suggest cable executives are placing a high premium on cable's prominence in the European living room. In a market where we are seeing a move from the living room extend to the digital home, we can expect equal attention to both premium content and premium content delivery for the increasingly demanding consumer. What are the trends that spell opportunity? What are the threats demanding management time? Where is the European market outpacing global peers and where is Europe having to play catch up?

VIP Policy Panel: Future of the Screen & Present Challenges
With the advent of higher broadband connections and increasingly sophisticated television everywhere offerings, the division between the TV screen and the PC is beginning to blur prompting one cable CEO to claim that "there is no such thing as a TV anymore." With such technological developments come challenges that will need to be addressed from both policy and commercial angles in the Europe of tomorrow which include the OTT threat, net neutrality, copyright reform to name only a few.

Presentation: Wireless Economics - How Cable Will Enable the Tablet Era
The way people consume broadband is rapidly changing. With tablets and smartphones becoming ubiquitous and the stellar increase in video consumption, service providers are faced with the challenge to keep serving their customers and their changing consumption behaviour. Whereas mobile network economics seem to break down very quickly in this new environment, cable has excellent cards to become the enabler of the tablet era, where mobility and high quality video will be the new norm. In this session we will take a closer look at the dynamics of this challenge, and how cable operators can take the lead in this market transition.

Focussing on the video customer. How is the consumption of video content changing? What's happening in the OTT video space? What's the appetite for consuming video beyond the TV screen? How to respond to it? How are the satellite and IPTV players responding to this demand? How can cable capture the opportunities of offering TV Everywhere?
